Students’ Council

A students’ council is a group of elected and volunteer students that collaborate with a staff advisor under the guidelines of a constitution or bylaws to offer a forum for student voice, support college affairs, and leadership experiences. The council also fosters relationships between students, faculty, and the community.

 

Fine Arts Association

A fine arts education combines several art classes including printing, painting, dance, singing, and photography. Enrolling in a fine arts course gives students the opportunity to express themselves creatively and improve their communication abilities. The association was founded at the same time as this institution. Over the years, the college has organized several cultural events and encouraged gifted students to compete in both college-sponsored and off-campus events. The pupils' numerous award victories have brought honours’ to the school.
The association's goals include giving students a stage on which to showcase their abilities and cultivate cooperative, coordinated, and competitive spirits while maintaining a lively sense of culture.

Literary Association

Literature is the mirror of the society. It is the mixture of reality and imagination. The aim of teaching literature to the students is to imbibe human values, moral, ethics in the students. Literary Association includes languages- English, Hindi and Kannada. Literary Association is a platform for overall development; the aim is to develop multidimensional personality of the students. For that purpose the association organise, conduct many programmes- Experts Lecture, Elocution competition, Debate, Discussion, Seminar, etc. to give stage confidence to the students. The associations always encourage students to write and read. To evoke imagination in the students, teacher always inspire the students to write- Poem, article, joke, wallpaper, etc. The association display collected written material on the board of “Literary Association”; then every year Literary Association/ wall Magazine/ college magazine publish displayed student material in yearly college magazine “CHETHANA”. Literary Association is a small step of the language department to provide opportunity to students to develop, grow, and modify their qualities.

Human Resource Development (HRD) Cell

HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (HRD) CELL of the college functions with the objective of providing guidance and assistance for the students to achieve their career goals.

Women Cell

The Cell tries to enhance self-esteem and self confidence among women students and staff. It helps to increase awareness of women related social issues, health, employment and gender related matters and to realize the role of women in building up of a healthy society.

NSS

The National Service Scheme (NSS) provides an opportunity to the student youth of 11th & 12th Class to take part in various Government led community service activities & programmes. The primary objective of nNational service Scheme is to develop the personality and character of the student youth through voluntary community service. ‘Education through Service’ is the moto of the NSS.

Sports

We firmly believe in the importance of extracurricular activities and encourage our students to actively participate in a range of activities. The campus has various sports facilities to ensure a comprehensive learning environment. Gone are the days when the sport was viewed as just a fitness activity. Apart from physical strength, it builds discipline, confidence, team spirit, and accountability. With this in view, sporting events are a priority in our college has dedicated teams for various events which compete in inter-college and intra-college competitions. Listed here are a few ways sporting events contribute to the overall development of the student.

NCC

The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities , with a distinct emphasis on Social Services, Discipline and Adventure Training. The NCC is open to all regular students on a voluntary basis.
