The Department of Commerce has been the pioneer in imparting commerce education for over four decades. We have provided with good learning environment to support holistic growth of a student. Apart from academic content delivery in subjects like Accounting, Finance, Banking, Statistics, Taxation, HR, Marketing, and Business Laws there are varied learning opportunities provided to students in the form of participative, experiential and exploratory learning opportunities.

We constantly encourage our students to explore and connect to real world corporate scenario. Remedial classes are offered to facilitate the learning needs of slow and resilient learners. The department also has regular mentoring session through appointment of mentors to support learning needs. The Department also offers value addition programs to enable students to pursue professional courses such as CA, CS, MBA and MCOM.

Students have shown exceptional performance even beyond academic front including sports, cultural, community-based activities. These can be viewed as the testimonial to the efforts of the department.
